About

I offer culturally and trauma-responsive therapy that honors the unique experiences and backgrounds of every individual. As a Mexican mental health therapist, I understand the importance of integrating cultural sensitivity with evidence-based practices. My approach is deeply rooted in recognizing how cultural contexts, historical experiences, and personal narratives shape our lives, and I strive to create a therapeutic space where all voices are heard and validated. I work primarily with culturally diverse clientele, providing a compassionate, safe, and empowering environment for healing and growth. My expertise is bringing compassionate, non-judgmental care to those who you are navigating the complexities of trauma, challenges with anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, and loss and grief. My approach is process-oriented, meaning I focus on the deeper layers of your experiences rather than just symptom relief. Although with deeper self-understanding, symptom reduction often naturally occurs. While I work with a diverse range of clients, I have a strong passion for supporting culturally diverse individuals who may feel unseen or unheard in traditional therapy spaces. I believe in the power of dialogue and reflective practice to uncover patterns and foster resilience, enabling you to build a stronger sense of self and purpose. No matter your background, if you're ready to explore the deeper process of healing and self-discovery, I am here to walk alongside you on your journey towards a thriving life. Narrative therapy is an approach that I will use in our sessions which allows you to process life experiences and emotions. I also incorporate this with Internal Family Systems and somatic informed approaches, and meditation/mindfulness (sensefulness) practices. In addition, I have extensive training in Morita Therapy, an experiential and ecological approach developed in Japan for holistic healing. Work with Me I provide virtual individual therapy sessions to adults that reside in Washington State. I'm currently contracted with Aetna and I also accept out-of-network clients. A super-bill can be provided to you to give to your insurance for reimbursement. Please feel free to schedule a free 15 minute phone consult with me above at 'Request Appointment' to see if we would be a good partnership.
